Rise of matte black furnishings

Since about 2019 more upscale and modern homes started to leave out the old traditional style of chrome and silver home furnishings for something that’s more subtle, but also elegant and ultra-modern. The new waves of matte black everything. Now you can expect to see a newly designed home with a modern touch of maybe a matte black faucet or even tables and even whole kitchen cupboards. Everyone these days is always looking for the next big “color “in home design and aesthetics. To be real though black has always been the “it” color, only recently has it really become an integral part of home design. Since Matte black really adds a type of flair to your home it really stands out by being a color that kinda blends in mostly. Like, let’s say you have a matte black office table with black steel legs and it looks ultra-chic and almost something batman himself would have. That table will more or less catch anyone’s eyes that enters your home and become a talking piece because everyone expects like a brown or white wood table or something plastic ones that are laying around. But one that is matte black… you don’t see that every day. It starts to become like a talking point and something that other people who would have never thought of the color actually consider for their homes. Now imagine having matte black cupboards in your kitchen? it might be the first choice but if you pair it with a dark tone for the walls, and black marble countertop, and an island that’s also black. It would look insanely good. So is matte black here to stay? It’s been here since 2019 and it really isn’t going anywhere.
